The new "Break-Away Adapter" allows any standard patch cord to breakaway upon a sudden pulling force to prevent damages to the devices. The "Break-Away Adapter" can thus protect mobile and permanently installed devices and installations from damage. The adapter's RJ45 socket has a release force which is below the standard values. This way, torn out contacts or sockets can be avoided without the transmission quality suffering. LogiLink's new "break-away adapter" can be easily integrated into existing cabling structures, for example by inserting it between the junction box and the patch
