| These Sunon DC fans are fitted with additional motor protection. The motor protection is made by an IC developed from SUNON. The IC controls the start up and switches the engine off for a short time under adverse conditions, for example locked rotors. Periodically the IC allows the motor to start again until it resets itself normally. If the rotor locks due to contaminant deposits, this can be repaired automatically by the motor protection function. This circuit also reliably prevents an excessive heating up of the engine coils in the event of damage. |
